There is no life without a healthy planet.

At COCO & IVES we believe ethics and sustainability are among our most basic responsibilities as humans. We are passionate about telling a story worthy of the time, quality, and consideration put into every step of the garments we make. We are proud to share the entire journey of the pieces we create.

There are no secrets; only stories, here.

IT STARTS WITH

OUR SEEDS

With full transparency and traceability, we map out the lifespan of every fiber we work with. We ensure ethics and environment are always honored, beginning with our farmers and the soil our seeds are planted in.

Our farmers share a passion for environmentalism and craft; whether it's growing the flax for our linen collection in fields of Belgium and France, or the organic farming practices in the valleys of Peru where our cotton collection is grown.

GARMENT MAKING

AS AN ARTFORM

Every garment is designed in California.

We manufacture in the United States and close to the source of our fibers in both Europe & Peru; no one better understands the subtleties of our fibers than the people who have been working with them for centuries.

Our factories abroad are vertically integrated, allowing knitting, sewing & dyeing to be completed entirely in house under one roof with a minimal footprint. These manufacturers operate under the world's most stringent and protective ethical and environmental standards with both GOTS & OEKO-TEX 100 certifications.

TOXIN-FREE DYEING

ENCOURAGING

CONSCIOUS CONSUMPTION

Every piece is thoughtfully designed with silhouettes accommodating growth spurts and years of wear, creating longer garment lifespans and less closet turnover. Our children's garments use two year sizing, encouraging more thoughtful, less frequent buying and more mindful consumption. We build every garment with quality in mind allowing it to be worn for years, passed down, resold or donated.
